City Hospital turned into a shelter for people

Since the end of May, Sievierodonetsk has been one of the hottest spots on the front. The Russian army destroyed the bridges on the way to Sievierodonetsk, so it is difficult to deliver humanitarian goods. The occupiers are purposely destroying infrastructure and houses.

During the three months of the full-scale war, the Sievierodonetsk City Hospital was almost the only shelter for the local residents.

At the end of March, we spoke with the head doctor, Roman Vodianyk, about how the hospital was functioning during the war. Since then the buildings of the hospital have been damaged by shelling, and several patients have died from Russian shells. But despite everything, doctors continue to save lives.
