It had nearly 4,000 residents before Russia’s full-scale invasion, now it has 300.
Russian troops killed peaceful civilians, kidnapped people, and looted houses.
Vysokopillia resident Svitlana says that her house was shelled twice.
She had to hide in the cellar with her family and wouldn’t leave the settlement because she was looking after neighbours’ dogs and cats.
Svitlana says she really wants to stay in Vysokopillia despite no electricity, heating, or water.
