The village of Shestovytsia,Chernihiv oblast, was occupied by Russian troops in the first days of the full-scale invasion. Over 600 inhabitants of the village were isolated.
Valentyna and her family with children tried to leave the village, but the Russian soldiers did not allow them to do so. They shot a convoy of three civilian cars.
The driver of one of the cars died on the spot, another passenger died of internal bleeding, because they simply could not take her to the hospital.
Valentyna and her children were lucky to return to the village.
