We are compiling a modern chronicle of Ukraine’s history together with our media partners – independent journalists and Ukrainian national and regional mass media who share the values of the project, have experience in creating documentary and publicist materials and work in compliance with professional standards and ethics. Their materials, together with materials created by the Public Interest Journalism Lab team, can be found on this portal.
In total, we have engaged more than thirty media partners from different regions of Ukraine to cooperate within the framework of “Life in War”. We selected ten of them in an open competition in the fall of 2022, based on a number of criteria, such as: the applicant’s ability to create high-quality documentary content, originality and importance of the declared topics and regional media coverage.
