Since the beginning of the full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine on the 24th February, 2022, the situation in the Luhansk region remains one of the most difficult.
Everyday the enemy is shelling peaceful cities and destroying the infrastructure of the region. In June 2022, the Russian occupiers controlled almost 95% of the region.
We recorded this conversation with the head of the Luhansk military-civilian administration Serhiy Haidai in March 2022. We talked about how they are preparing for the defense of the region, who is fighting against Ukraine and why people do not want to leave dangerous regions.
