On the 9th of August, 15 civilians, whose bodies could not be identified, were buried in the city of Bucha, Kyiv Oblast. Out of 15 people 14 were men and one was a woman. Eight men were tortured and shot by the Russian military, their bodies were found in the village of Myrotske.
The deputy mayor of Bucha, Mykhailyna Skoryk, said that traces of torture, wounds to head and chest were found on their bodies.
If the relatives of the dead are found, the connection can be established using the DNA procedure and, with the permission of the investigation, the body can be reburied or the plaque on the grave can be replaced.
