We only thought about how we are going to get out of Mariupol alive 

16-year-old Dasha, along with her mother and younger sister, had to walk for an hour to get out of occupied Mariupol. The family made a decision to leave the city when a rocket hit a neighboring house. “The scariest thing is the sound of Russian planes dropping bombs,” says the girl.

 We met with Dasha and her family at the center for forcefully displaced people in Zaporizhzhia.
